This site is run by Rowan Ashling and collects as little personal information as possible. This page explains what it does collect and what happens to it.

The mailing list

If you sign up to the mailing list, your email address is stored by Kit, the service that sends the emails. Kit is based in the United States, so your address is held there. It’s used only to send you news about books, release dates and other things I’m working on. It’s never sold or passed on to anyone else.

Your address is only added with your consent, when you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email, and your address is then removed from the list.

Visiting the site

This site doesn’t use cookies, advertising or tracking. It’s hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal information I hold about you by emailing rowanashlingbooks@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
